iBasso has unveiled a striking new version of its flagship DX340 portable hi-fi player, 

this time wrapped in a CNC-milled titanium chassis. 

The titanium edition not only delivers a premium aesthetic 

but also offers greater durability while remaining lightweight at just over a pound. 

It’s a bold move that reinforces iBasso’s ambition to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with established audiophile brands like Astell&Kern.


Modular amplifier design lets users tailor sound to their preferences. 


At its core, the DX340 titanium edition retains the modular amplifier design that made the original model so versatile. 

It ships with the AMP15 module, now modified to provide improved output 

and handling across a wider range of headphones and in-ear monitors.

Audiophiles can swap in any AMP1X series card to tailor the sound to their preferences,

ensuring flexibility for different listening setups. Connectivity options are equally comprehensive, 

with support for balanced and single-ended outputs, coaxial, USB OTG, Bluetooth, 

and dual-band Wi-Fi—making the device as much a digital hub as a dedicated player.

Dual batteries ensure cleaner power and up to 11 hours of listening.  



The audio engine has been upgraded to iBasso’s FPGA-Master 3.0 system, 

paired with a 1-bit discrete DAC configuration. 

This setup promises ultra-low distortion, exceptional timing precision, and clarity that rivals desktop systems. 

The player supports native DSD512 and PCM up to 32-bit/768 kHz, ensuring compatibility with the highest-resolution audio formats available today.


A 6-inch AMOLED display brings streaming and pure playback to life. 


On the usability front, the DX340 titanium edition features a 6-inch AMOLED display with sharp resolution 

and vibrant color reproduction. 

It runs dual operating systems: Android 13 for streaming apps like Spotify, 

Apple Music, and Tidal, and Mango OS, a lightweight Linux-based system designed for pure playback. 

With 8 GB of RAM, a Snapdragon 665 processor, 

and 256 GB of internal storage expandable via microSD up to 2 TB, 

the device balances performance with practicality.

CNC-milled titanium gives the player strength, durability, and elegance.  



Power management is another highlight. 

The DX340 employs a dual battery system—one dedicated to digital functions and the other to analog audio. 

This separation minimizes interference and ensures clean signal delivery. 

Cleverly, both batteries charge together and appear as a single icon on the display, 

supporting up to 11 hours of continuous playback.

while the standard stainless steel version remains available at £1,499 or $1,699 in the US.
